This year’s Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (SABA SABA 2025) has been nothing short of electric — and one of the standout installations has undoubtedly been the Yas Pavilion. A striking embodiment of creativity, culture, and campaign purpose.
Designed and executed from the ground up by Amplify Marketing. The pavilion is more than just a display — it’s an experience. From the first concept sketches to the final build on-site. Amplify brought Yas’s campaign “ANZIA ULIPO” (Start Where You Are) to life in vivid detail. Every corner, every curve, and every moment at the pavilion was designed to connect, inspire, and engage with audiences of all ages.
📍 Live from July 1st up to July 13rd SABA SABA 2025 at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fairgrounds. The Yas Pavilion draws visitors into a unique space where creativity meets purpose.
As the LED Screen Operator, I had the opportunity to play a key part in delivering the dynamic visual storytelling that brought the Yas brand message to life. From interactive visuals to scheduled media loops, my job was to ensure the screen content flowed seamlessly and enhanced the immersive atmosphere of the pavilion.
Working under Amplify, on behalf of Yas, I got to witness first-hand how much detail, coordination, and energy goes into executing such a high-impact activation. It’s always a thrill being part of a team that values innovation and pushes boundaries to create something memorable.
If you’re in Dar — don’t miss it. Go experience the energy, creativity, and heart behind “ANZIA ULIPO.” And if you catch yourself captivated by the visuals? That just might be the LED magic at work. 😉
As Mark MaScreen, I had the incredible opportunity to be the LED Screen Operator at one of the most vibrant and creative events of the year – “Lite Your Imagination”. This 3-day celebration of sound, light, and refreshment was held at the lush and open Hugo’s Garden in Moshi, providing the perfect backdrop for a unique blend of music and chilled Serengeti Lite beer.
My role was to ensure every LED screen on site ran smoothly, displaying vivid visuals in sync with the music and overall ambiance. From artist intros to brand visuals and live crowd shots, each frame mattered. Working with Moro Incorporation Limited Lead by Sele Mtaula, the screen providers, we set up a system that could handle everything from sponsor loops to dynamic light visuals, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for all guests.
The theme “Lite Your Imagination” was more than a catchy tagline — it was the creative energy that pulsed through every moment of the event. Whether it was an upbeat DJ set, a soulful live performance, or the crowd raising their Serengeti Lite bottles to the sky, the screens helped bring those moments to life in real time. It’s always an honor to be the unseen force behind those visual moments that leave a lasting impression…
Bramextz, the event organizers, did an outstanding job curating a lineup that kept the crowd moving from Evening till late into the night. With local and regional DJs and performers, the energy never dipped, and the crowd responded with nonstop dancing and singing. The LED visuals had to stay just as dynamic — always adjusting to the tempo and flow of the live performances.
Behind the scenes, it was a full production effort. From cable runs and power management to syncing playback systems, there were plenty of challenges — especially in an outdoor venue. But that’s where teamwork came in. The tech team, the Moro Incorporation crew, and I worked hand-in-hand to overcome every obstacle and deliver visuals that matched the scale and vision of the event.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was seeing how much people engaged with the visuals. Whether taking selfies in front of the LED backdrops, those moments reminded me why I love this work. Technology and creativity truly come together at events like this.
This event once again proved that no matter how good the music or drinks are — if the visuals don’t hit, the experience can fall flat. But when all the elements align? You get magic. And that’s exactly what we delivered at “Lite Your Imagination”.
A massive thank you to Bramextz again, for the opportunity and to Serengeti Lite for supporting such creative events. And of course, shoutout to Moro Incorporation Limited Lead by Sele Mtaula— it’s always a pleasure working with your team and your reliable screen tech.
To all upcoming event planners, screen owners, and tech crews — never underestimate the power of well-executed visuals. The screen may be behind the music, but it’s front and center in the experience.
Until the next event — Mark MaScreen
